“Positive Post” campaign
Hydra Dyne Tech participates in the “Positive Post” campaign through the local economic council of Ingersoll. This campaign encourages people to develop positive social media posts about local businesses to promote a healthier community and positive environment rather, than the pre-dominantly negative aspect of social media.
Ingersoll Fusion Youth Centre
Robotics Course
Hydra Dyne Tech works with the Fusion Youth Centre to offer specialized training for programming robotic applications to continue to build the interest of kids towards skills that will help them achieve rewarding careers. The curriculum, equipment and training has been procured by Hydra Dyne Tech.
Big Brothers Big Sisters
Sponsorship
On an annual basis, Hydra Dyne Tech supports and sponsors the Big Brother Big Sister foundation and its activities. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a non-profit federation with a focus on mentoring programs for youth since 1913.

Ingersoll District Collegiate Institute
Support the Manufacturing Program
Hydra Dyne Tech has created a partnership with the local high school (IDCI) where blueprints, materials and measuring equipment are supplied to help build a successful machining curriculum within the technology department. We work with students and provide tours, access to our Quality Lab and co-op placements as well as monetary donations to support the program’s needs.
Fanshawe College
Program Advisory Committee
Hydra Dyne Tech is part of the Advisory Committee to help advise the College on the development of programs, program currency, and industry acceptance. As part of a group of companies, we provide invaluable feedback related to curriculum relevancy, ensuring that Fanshawe graduates continue to meet employer needs. The focus in on a variety of Manufacturing Programs, such as Manufacturing Technology (Technician & Technologist), Electro-mechanical Technician, Practical Elements of Mechanical Engineering, and Advanced Mechanical Design.
University of Guelph
Gryphon SAE Racing Team
Hydra Dyne Tech supports and sponsors the Gryphon SAE Racing team, which is composed of approximately 40 students at the University of Guelph. Each year, the team designs, builds and races an open-wheeled, high performance vehicle. he team members engage in regular meetings, design work, fabrication, machining work and much more. These activities use skills and knowledge gained from courses in their curriculum, personal hobbies and past work experience.

HDT Award of Excellence
Hydra Dyne Tech has established a HDT Award of excellence of academic achievement to the most accomplished student in CNC Programming Program. We engage students and provide tours of our facility and offer Co-op Placements at Hydra Dyne Tech.
University of Western Ontario
Capstone Project
Hydra Dyne Tech is an Industrial Sponsor in the Capstone Design Course at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University Capstone, working with 3 groups of year 4 students on the design of Hydra Dyne Tech’s products. We have also established a $500 award to the most successful group.
